Core Capabilities:
At McFail Global Logistics, we are dedicated to helping businesses streamline their logistics operations. Our mission is to build efficient and audit-ready systems that stand the test of time.
From the Army’s Supply Support Activity (SSA) to Building Her Own Logistics Company
I was 19 when I walked into the recruiting office with no clear plan. I took the ASVAB, didn’t score high, and the Army chose my job:
“You’re going to be a 92 Alpha.”
“What’s that?” I asked.
The recruiter replied, “Supplies — pens, paper, that kind of thing.”
I thought, Cool, sounds simple.
But when I arrived at my first duty station in Korea, I quickly found out it was far more than office supplies. I was assigned to the Supply Support Activity (SSA) and rotated through every section of the warehouse — Turn-In, Receiving, Storage, and Issue.
Each area taught me something vital: how to manage inventory, track assets accurately, fulfill requests under pressure, and keep operations moving — even when people or parts didn’t.
That’s when it all clicked for me.
I realized:
This is what keeps the military running — and I love it.
🟨 Deployment: Where Logistics Became Leadership
In February 2011, I deployed to Afghanistan. We were frequently attacked, and every task came with risk. I drove a Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) from the SSA to Tech Supply daily — working 12-hour shifts in full gear, focused and alert.
Sometimes, it took four or five trips a day just to bring supplies back to my section. I had to load, haul, and offload again and again — because the mission depended on it.
I worked on a two-person team and was soon trusted to manage my section solo. I became the go-to person for anything logistics.
My biggest challenge? Rebuilding the entire Tech Supply area from the ground up — a section made up of nearly 40 connexes that needed complete reorganization.
I created a full labeling and tracking system, validated every item against the records, and transformed chaos into order.
That was my first true warehouse build — and I did it in a combat zone.
🟩 Bridging the Gap: Civilian Experience
After returning from deployment, I continued my logistics career as a civilian — supporting multiple government contracts and managing operations across supply chains, warehouses, and procurement systems.
For over a decade, I led logistics teams, optimized warehouse processes, and became the go-to person when things needed to get done right.
Now: McFail Global Logistics, LLC
Since 2009, I’ve dedicated my life to logistics — from overseas military operations to global government contracting. Today, I lead McFail Global Logistics, LLC, a veteran- and minority-owned firm focused on helping clients stay organized, compliant, and mission-ready.
